Well, to say the least, Mark is uber excited!! I, on the other-hand, am sort of stressed over what to bring on our 8 week journey down the river ways versus what to pack to move to Florida.
Food for the trip is the main focus. What will keep without refrigeration, etc. We're okay with the canned goods, even finding the canned meat palatable. I'm making sure we have a lot of seasonings to change the taste! Not sure what stops on the way have grocery stores nearby to re-provision. Our "icebox" has a very small freezer (2 ice cube trays) so keeping meat frozen is not really an option. (our Manhattans require ice).
And speaking of the alcoholic beverages...Oh my, no glass on board so I have been happily tasting all the different kinds of boxed wine, so we can make our selections. The boxes will be removed enabling easier storage and there will be more than the normal "bladder" being emptied through-out the trip.😉😉
Both Mark and I have so many things still left to do, thank goodness we started planning over a year ago.
